Help instaling an indicator

I have this indicator that I want to install ( https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/217435 ), but I don't know how. Could someone help me out on how to install it, please?

  2. Put it in the MQLx\Indicators folder and compile.

Thank you for the answer, whroeder1, but it still not working. Maybe there is something to do with the fact that my terminal is MT5 and the file is MQ4? Is there something I can do about it?

This is indicator for Metatrader 4 (MT4) so you need MT4 to install and to use this indicator:

BarNumbers - indicator for MetaTrader 4

MT5 is the version  my broker recomends. Therefore, is there a way that I can transform this MT4 indicator into a MT5 indicator?

I am not sure about this particular indicator (I am not a coder sorry) but in general - MT4 indicators are not working with MT5. So, it should be recoded (you can ask it on Freelance service for money, or wait when someone will do it for free and place on Codebase for example).
