I successfully compiled this EA including the TRIX Arrows and placed the EA plus indicator in their respective MQL5 folders but no trades were placed during back testing.
I checked the logfiles but there was no record of any error or reason why the EA wasn't placing trades. The signal counter display on the chart remained at zero throughout the backtest
What could be the problem!!!?

Learn to read and study log files! This is the most basic thing you must be able to do. Also remember - there are no telepaths and psychics here: therefore you are obliged to provide the adviser settings, testing settings and all log files.
