Was expecting to see implementation via classes... But nevertheless, thanks to the author for the article.
I agree with the author...
But there is one "but" - it works only on large timeframes.... That's why the profit is corresponding.... =(
I have to disappoint the authors talking about "most Japanese candlestick patterns". In Japan there are much more of them than given in Nison and Morris.
Since I deal with Japanese candlestick models, and the question of "statistics" of models has become popular for some reason, I am interested in this question.
I have the following questions.
1. You have set some parameters of candlesticks and models. For example, in the hammer you have the ratio of the length of the body and the lower candle from 2 to 3, and the upper shadow is not more than 10%.
If a candle exceeds these parameters, for example, the ratio of shadow to body is 3.01, or the upper shadow is 0.12%, is it a model?
2. Can the parameters of candlesticks and models be changed?
3. Do you take into account the position of the model in the concepts of top and bottom? The Hanged Man should be at the top and Takuri at the bottom. the models are different, but the candle is the same.
You can find me on the forum of the site www.japancandles.ru.

there is no adaptation to the Forex market.....
to the author the second respect for his mental work on adaptation to the forex market.
you read the article and interesting thoughts come into your head
It's been over a month. It's probably time to ask a second question. I guess I will:

Have you tried using ANN in conjunction with this concept?
If yes, what are the results (at least superficially)?Great article, looking forward for your next one. I am curious what indicators you are going to use it with.
I have a question:
Why are you not clarifying the difference between opening Marubozu and closing Marubozu?
Rosh
Thank you for such a fantastic article.... It helps me a lot..
Thanks allot for setting the standard, a very high standard if I may add as well.
It is very difficult to label something when other people perceive things differently. I believe this will start to align the misperceptions of various candle sticks.
Please note I picked up a very small drawing bug at your abandoned baby (lol)...it is abandoned hahaha
DrawSignal(prefix+"Abandoned Baby the bull model"+string(objcount++),cand1,cand1,cand3,InpColorBull,comment);
I might be wrong but the second cand1 should have been a cand2, right?

Have you tried to use ANN together with this concept?
If yes, what results (at least superficially)? Now it is not fashionable to answer the authors of articles to the questions of readers?
And in the English-speaking part of the forum, in general, not a single question on this article has not been answered.
Is it no longer fashionable for authors of articles to answer readers' questions?
And in the English-speaking part of the forum, not a single question about this article has been answered at all.
