Discussion of article "Graphical Interfaces X: Text selection in the Multiline Text box (build 13)" - page 4

Mikhail Dovbakh:

Very much in line with my experience.

But Anatoly, unlike me, sees the "big picture" in advance - that's why he lays down for further development.
I sin that I don't make "unnecessary movements" for the sake of the speed of solving the current task... But how much time they could save in the future!

But how much time they could save in the future!
That's why I sincerely admire this library, its filling with goodies is consistent and uninterrupted, and what is very important - consistently.
It means that the project is not created on the knees, but with a well thought out goal and pre-defined possibilities.
Thanks to Anatoly and MetaQuotes for this extension!
If there is not enough support to continue the project - we will knock a bowl! :)
This is a super project also in terms of documentation quality.
For me this is an unattainable level of design in MQL (

Yes, it's a good thing.

After a year of GUI development from Anatoly. A user opens a utility and the following happens

Anatoli Kazharski:

No, it's not. But the GUI created with my library will be there. )

Will this project be public or private? I apologise for my curiosity).

Реter Konow:
Is this project going to be public, or private? I apologise for being overly curious:)
I'll do it first, then decide. )

EasyAndFastGUI is already quite applicable and workable. Of course, you can modify it for your needs. It is not so complicated. At the same time the level of organisation and structure is made in such a way that it becomes clear where it comes from and how the interface is built. Examples:

Here is another class based on the progress indicator class:

And here is CCanvas:

As you can see there is nothing extraordinary here.

Let's remember what I or you created a year ago. And let's compare it with Anatoly's (hopefully) unfinished project.
Personally, I am pleased to realise that Metaquotes supported this project. Applications (for those who use this solution, whether it is an Expert Advisor or an indicator) have become "fredlyserious" with minimal costs and efforts of a developer-user.
And what I like is that it works in MT4. )

When you think how many man-hours will be saved by this library - there are no words to express gratitude!

Mikhail Dovbakh:

does this library work in mt4 ?

Pavel Kolchin:
does this library work in mt4?
If you raspy-peel it.

Artyom Trishkin:
why doesn't the author do support if it's possible?

Pavel Kolchin:
why doesn't the author make support if it is possible?

Anatoly has already written about it.

Now he supports and develops only for MT5. If you need it for MT4, you can develop it yourself, or order someone to do it for you.

Pavel Kolchin:
why author won't make support if it is possible?

@Pavel Kolchin, no time for tests. Every minute is precious to me.

I've seen your work. It turned out cool! I like it. )
