How can we use Live and Demo accounts at the same time?

Hi All,

I would like to have two terminals opened at the same time: one for my live account and one for my demo account so I can test out some theories with an EA I have created.

I am running MT4 (Build 600) and I can only seem to open one terminal instance at a time.

Aside from running another instance in a virtual machine or on another physical machine, is there a way to do this on the same PC? Perhaps an obscure command line switch to enable this?

Anyone else irked by this apparent restriction as well?

Kindest regards,

Hi,

You can run more than 2 at the same time.

During installation name them like C:\Metatrader4_1st, C:\Metatrader4_2nd, ....

I run 4 MT4 at the same time 2-3 years ago (2 live 2 demo)
