Profitable Ea

Does anybody has for share a profitable EA? I tried to run at my strategy tester some EAs from the elite section at EA files ->https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/176044 but i don't know why, the Eas didn't run at my strategy tester.

What errors did you get when you tried to test them?

I didnt see results even if some of them they run in the strategy tester. Some of them they had code errors. I find this by this way->modify and after compile. I try to run about 7 eas

Did you check this thread https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/180403/page11 for an updated (new metatrader 4 compatible) EA?

Try to use EAs with the "nmc" in their name. Otherwise some of the older EAs are not new metatrader 4 compatible and you are going to get those compiler errors. "nmc" versions are made to be new metatrader 4 compatible, and whenever you see such a version use that version (they are working the same as the old versions except that the code is changed to be compatible with the mql language changes in the new metatrader 4)

I tried an Ea including in the name the "nmc" and works.

You should do forward testing too (in real time on demo account of course)

Back testing should not be the unique criteria to decide. There are very good EAs here, but always bare in mind that those are mechanical systems and that there is a risk of failure in some market conditions
