Can anyone tell me how to change the name of an mq4 file (so that I can use it superimposed over the original but keeping the original)?
This would give 2 mq4 files, the original and the one with a new name.
Thanks
TEAMTRADEROpen it with metateditor, use file->save as and save it using any name you wish
Thanks, I have done that and changed what I had hoped would block the red/blue dots. but it seems that my logic has failed me - again.
How do I get rid of these MACD dots please?
I even changed the colour of the BB lines to darkorange and deepskyblue but this was not accepted either.
Newly named Indicator attached.

TEAMTRADERLike this. Set the ShowDots to false, and the dots will not be visible any more
Thanks again - it is so obvious (now you have pointed it out).
Appreciated

Compile the code with the new name at least twice. Then if Metatrader is running, shut it down and restart to see the name in the Navigator.
