That is a wise advice

Better to take a break than to rush (unless you have a lot of money )

 

Does not matter if that is a first order of a day or week : sit down and think about the loss and why you lost

Yes, if we trade with emotion, we will not get maximal result. In forex, emotion must be controlled. And it often happens, traders can not get maximal result because their emotion, but they have good skills in analyze market when trading.

You don't have to control the emotions

You have to control the money. No trading without MM

 

Underfunding

The smaller the account the bigger the risk. Forex is not meant for the poor (but they are not going to tell it to you)

 

Check how many times exactly when you place an order spread rises. I am not telling that it is the main reason for loses, but we are up against a lot of things - not just against our own faults

 

Exiting too soon when in trend and exiting too late when having an order opposite to trend. Keep you take profits - do not exit before they are reached

 

In my opinion, 3 main reasons:

lack of knowledge

lack of discipline

lack of patience
