Different Brokers Show Different Candlestick Sizes In Their MT4 Platforms

I have been studying Forex for about 4 months now and just noticed something I never noticed before.

I opened 9 MT4 platforms at the same time on my computer and put every one on EURUSD H4, and to my surprise the candlesticks did not match from broker to broker.

That is, some brokers were the same, but then another set of brokers showed different candlestick sizes.

I remember seeing one candlestick that had a huge bottom wick, but that same candlestick (same timeframe/same currency pair), at another broker hardly had a bottom wick, and the candlestick was way shorter.

Does this mean the broker has control over the price movement?

I took screenshots of the last 12 or 13 candlesticks on the EURUSD H4 chart from each of the 9 brokers.

Some of them are the same and some are not. I could only upload 5.

The 5 screenshots in order of appearance are from:

Yes!

There can be couple issues:

- brokers has different GMT. Open and close price are different.

- some brokers use 4 digits, some 5.

Did you get the answer to this question.

Today I faced another problem: two traders run the same automated system, but have different broker. Today trader A got 3 positive trades and trader B got one SL. All setting are the same. systems is scalper.

Have you ever heard about stop hunting?)
