Did anybody create an EA for this interesting system?

i believe this is a great system as i came to a similar system too. mine has (had) psar 0.01 instead but no lag is better.

before i saw this thread i was thinking of just ditching the sar's and going on the supertrend. i understand the 2nd indi helps confirm, but the supertrend works well on its own.??

also if anyone has the supertrend with a change color alert, id be grateful. i trade lower than 4hr TF's so an alert would save me trips up/down the stairs

attached is TRO's go at ST with an alert but its another version and not as good. also attached is a mtf version if helpful (same as supertrend1)

3rd'ly is my go at adding TRO's alert code to supertrend1. i get it to work once then stops.

 

Could someone code an EA for this interesting theory?

Tim, he has no EAs, neither for MT4. I hope someone feels free to code one. I mailed Andrew before.

 

Have you made any updates?

You might consider, adding another filter. The TF just above what ever TF you are trading in.

For instance if you are trading 1hr TF, the SuperTrend must also be in agreement in the 4 hr TF.
