Set default curor to crosshair

Is it possible to set the default cursor as the crosshair?

if so, how?

Not sure about default but if you have a mouse with a center button or wheel you can just click that and get the crosshair.

For those without the center button or wheel, you can use:

Control + F to show the crosshair as soon as you move the mouse.
