These guys were a Broker that offered 0 pip spread - who knows what they were doing, but it is clear that they were not putting orders into the Interbank market or effectively hedging their risk.

I believe that there were warning signs before, initially from one of Felix's subscribers when she tried to withdraw her gains and was told that she was in breach of their rules etc...https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/172985

Zero Spreads and no commissions... that sounds too good to be true. Remember what your mama told ya... when it is too good to be true, then it ain't.

I remember a few years ago there was a futures broker based in Michigan offering ridiculously low commissions and was just acting as a bucket shop. It went under and cost a lot of people their money.

I think there is a lesson to be learnt here.
