Hi Tross,

could you please test the Hans123 Breakout system on EUR/USD? Options are default. Timeframe 15m.

oh I'm really disapointed with that result!!

As you can see I'm setting the same value for "pips" and "TP" and for now leaving MaxTrades=10, since this is about a martingale sequence.

I think lowering TP(=pips) will get easier things cleaned up. On the other hand since MaxTrades is set to 10, that figure can't be too low because It'll reach easier the SL level...

Please try now with the next 3 different ways:

1st:

TP=7

Pips=7

MaxTrades=15

2nd:

TP=15

Pips=15

MaxTrades=10

and 3rd:

TP=20

Pips=20

MaxTrades=10

Hmm... i seem to get the same problem. Nevermind, please backtest this EA... its the same strategy but for gbpusd.

No go on this one either, I even went through and changed all the pair specific code to allow use on any pair.

I've never had much luck with EurUsd and Goblin.

Heres 2 successful backtest with Goblin_Options.

USDJPY and USDCAD.

for 2006, only got like 80 trades, less than 50% profitable trades, had high hopes for this one as it is a variation of the first live EA I ever used.

Good find B.T., I had tried version 1.0 of this.

1.2 is doing something better.

I don't have data for GBP yet, so here's EUR.

Going to have a closer look at this one, it's opening more profitable trades than losers, but it might just be because of the SL, etc.
