CCI Filter - page 20

Desatar:

Would it be possible to code this indicator?

Let's say CCI 170 & CCI 34 crossing 0 or 100 + or -  changing color.

Both above 100 green, below 100 red and in the middle yellow.

Levels should be adjustable, if possible.

Thx

Here is a version that can do that

On chart cci indicator

It has the usual set of 22 price types, alerts and the option to smooth

PS: this smoothing is done so that the lag is minimal, producing results that are far better than the usual smoothing would do (see the comparison what a usual smoothing would do on a lower example - the red line would be conventional smoothing result)

This product contour artistic, works excellent, the ease of operation, the use safe reliable.

But my fascination with "Is there any more information about this smoothing?" was unleashed.

:)

Frankly, I have noticed that I tend to tell as little as possible when I post something. That is probably OK if the people that are reading those posts are having years of TA experience behind them, but that is not so. So I have decided to put a little more effort in posting and add some things that might be old to experienced users, but might clarify some things and points of usage to all the rest (and, why not, might be a reminder to old TA wolfs too :))

ND is very good at that (in assessing what the people need to be told), I am not. But will try to keep the posts (at least the posts that are a bit more important) a bit more "explanative" :). That might save some time.

The "trick" of the smoother cci is long known : instead of trying to smooth the cci, price is filtered using some averaging and then we have that better smoothing results

Now, that was enough from me for one post :)

Thank you for your words and help.

As the days turn into months and the months into years, you will remain in my heart forever :)

These are getting better and better. Can we have a mtf version too?

...

Quite some time ago KimIV was very well know in the metatrader community and then, for some reason, he stopped posting at metatrader site. I was even convinced that something happened to him. Well, I am glad that I found out that it is not so (at least it seems so) : so here is one indicator updated by KimIV at January this year at his site (www.kimiv.ru)

PS: posting the indicator as is (no altering of any kind even though it might be better to have some other coloring) but if someone deserved to have his code posted without any altering it is KimIV, so ...

This seems neat!

Can you make the indicator give push notification/allow for color change as well? Thanks..
