Any idea on how to use this indicator?

May be a USD index along this indicator might give a clear

direction.

Does anyone have the usd index indicator?

Here's an interesting idea for the MAIndex indicator.

How about coding a histogram of the MAindex for all the USD pairs. We have MTF indicators, why not create a Multi Currency indicator?

re-construct currency indices data

I came across this website with the Metatrader 4 platform. http://www.liteforex.org/

http://www.liteforex.org/downloads/sig4setup.exe

Among its symbols are some Currency Indices like the USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, CHF, AUD and NZD.

I have become dependent upon it for currency analysis & short term direction.

However, I am afraid that if this broker goes out of business ( all too common for MT4 brokers) I will lose the privilege of its demo currency indices.

I got zero divide error when I tried to use the indicator in a EA.

Can you please tell me how can I gather information on all currencies in groups? I want to buy USD if in the group USD moves in one direction on all pairs (moves up), I want to sell USD in all pairs when USD falls in all pairs.

How do you calculate such stuff?

MQL4 formulas would do fine.

There are several brokers with usdx, I remember forex ltd, nwfb, whc, etc. Take a look at MT4 brokers thread.
