My backtester stopped working
I doubt it. And i doubt that they have very much control over your computer.
Their view their custumers as suckers and statistically they have a case 
So why should they care what you are doing, plus its highly illegal and therefore seems and uneccesary risk for them to run.
Most likely cause your backtester is not working is probably a fault in your EA or combination of timeframe and EA...let us know if your problems continue...
