I was sharing the investor's password, login and server few months ago for alpari broker and finally all copies of Alpari MetaTrader was stucked for few next months and i spent one full week just to transfrer some EAs tested from Alpari to other brokers. It may be because of password/login i gave. May be because of some other reason. Any way I don't want to do any experiments with it anymore.
I am not selling EAs. It is just EAs testing. So detailed statements may be enough.
It may be important for the people who are selling the EAs: if you belive in them you will buy EA. But i am not selling EAs so nothing will be happend if you don't belive in me.

Hi, I'm new to this thread and I'm just having a look around and getting to know the ins and outs of how it works. I've just been viewing the forward testing results here and was just wondering how they compare to the backtesting results for the same period. Now I know most people dont really trust the results of backtesting on metatrader, but I just thought it would be interesting to see how similar or different they really are. For example, does the firebird EA produce the 10,000 pips when backtested? Just a thought. I'm sure you guys have already covered this topic somewhere on this thread anyway. But I'm new and wouldn't really know where to find it so if someone could point me in the right direction or answer this question that would be great.

Squidinc1This topic was not covered. I tried to compare backtesting with forward testing and i realized that it is different. Sometimes the same, but sometimes different. I did it with contest EAs.
