i am also using simple stoch for trading but at the certain time,

i need simple stoch (8,3,3). with 2 time filter setting, TP=10 and SL=15, TF=M5.

can someone help me???

hello..

i try to build a working EA but seems like it contains bug..

the rules are

if trend is Up in M30 -> only buy..in M1, buy when stoch cross upward 20 and exit when cross downward 80

reverse it for sell

but the EA is not functioning well, it doesn't close open position according to the rules..and also some other bugs (maybe)..

could someone help?

This can only help us all filter out the bad trades and help stay longer in the market, if you can make the EA with the options to change the parameters, it will be a plus point.

Hi,

I would say one good way to filter out bad trades is to use MACD (25,40,1). Enter long trades (sto crossing up under 20) if MACD is over 0 and short trades (sto crossing down over 80) if under 0. The MACD setting is like a 5ema/8ema crossover for a 25 min chart, thus giving an idea of the major trend for the 5 min chart. Actually, I think that it can be used for any strategy on any timeframe.
