Not sure if I am posting in the right forum here as I don't see any reference to MT5, only MT4, so apologies if I am in the wrong place. Also, is this just for programming backend stuff or for all help? I guess I am about to find out.
New to Metatrader and I was just wanting some help with demo functionality. 2 points;
1) When I look for a stock symbol i.e. AAPL in my Market Watch window, I type it in to "click to Add", press enter and nothing happens. Why is this? What am I doing wrong? If I type e.g. EURUSD then I get all currency pairs, but if I type in MSFT for example nothing happens.
UPDATE: Sorry, just realized the Apple symbol is DAAPL. I've found the symbols lists. SO it's just the other issue below with my "show time and sales" function.

2) When viewing a currency pair's DOM, my Time & Sales option is grayed out, why is it not active? Am I doing something wrong or is it because I am using the demo account (server - MetaQuotes-Demo)? Although I am pretty sure I've read that this is available in the demo.
