how SL and Trailing stop works

I read the docs about SL, TP and Trailing Stop but is a little bit confusing me. TP is clear for me.

So please a concretei explanation about how SL and Trailing stop works. Are they related to each other or they are independent?

Let say I open a postion EURUSD at 1.3755 and fix SL=15 pips and Trailing Stop=25.

How it works and when the position will be closed by trading system?

SL is the exact opposite of TP.

Trail stop is a moving SL where the price move in your favor.
