Many people optimise EAs so that they get the best results using past data. This is shooting an arrow into a wall and then drawing the target around the arrow. This can't be done in real time.

Ask them for two years of live forward tests on a live account, of course these are all highly optimized on past data , to deceive the buyer on results.These curve fitted eas sold and rented are alluring buyers, that is the only way they can be sold.It is a marketing trick to suck new traders.
