Im hoping theres a course out there that teaches you mt5 code.

Try reading "Expert Advisor Programming for MetaTrader5" by Andrew R. Young. Great book!
 
Or you can try you tube of course.

Ive looked around for meta editor 5 tutorials but with little luck of finding much because mt5 is quite new.
I did the jim dandy course for mt4 and that was extremely helpfull.

Print out all the exercises, use highlighters, put in a three ring binder. Run them all.
I offer MQL5 tutoring to get oriented to the platform, but i don't teach coding. Get the book, it will help you clarify your interest.
