trades closed when program is closed?
Hello, I am very new to MT4. I had a trade running, but I switched accounts from live to demo, and when I returned to live, the trade was no longer active. I am currently trading in very small amounts so that mistakes are virtually painless, so it wasn't a big deal. Is this the way MT4 behaves? Does the program close trades when the platform is closed?

The terminal does not. If you had an EA running, possibly but unlikely. Most likely you hit a SL or a margin call.
