MT4 New Installation Crash on startup
Samtex: says (Not Responding) for about 5-10 minutes and then works fine.
If it "then works fine" it is not a crash.
You imported history and are now paging: Reduce tools -> options -> chart -> Max bars in chart = 65000. (not bars in history)
You (or code) created thousands of objects on the chart(s) and are now paging. Delete the chart(s) and open new.
Your history files are very fragmented. Defrag your HD.

MT4 had been working just find until this morning when I turned on my computer, now when it opens it even before it connects to the brokers server it says (Not Responding) for about 5-10 minutes and then works fine. I have installed MT4 from different brokers in different locations all with the same result. It is also affecting skype in the same way.
I am running WINDOWS 7 64 bit and the latest MT4.
I have been looking for a fix all day and its driving me crazy. Please can you help as it seemed to have happen overnight.
