Signals - Trades partially closing at my end

I am subscribing to a signal, my friend, and there is no activity on the signal account, just running trades. Nothing changes at my end and then suddenly the positions get partially closed, although this does not happen to the signal provider.
The signal account is in a large drawdown - does this matter?
