MT4 instances number and/or Charts with EAs number performance

Hi there,

I've read about installing/copying folders for multiple MT4 instances; charts per instance and so on...

There is plenty info about it, but, are there advantages of, for example,

  • having one instance of mt4 with lets say 'n' charts, each one of those with a heavy or light EA (in the sense of resources demand)

VS

  • having the charts and EAs divided between any number of instances?

Instances
Charts
EAs / Chart
1
20
1
2 10 1
4
5
1
10 2 1

Is there any performance advantage with any approach on this?

Of course, taking into account user's machine's configuration (if it has a very good one, I guess there will still be differences - if any -, minimal or not)

Thanks

Just wanted to say, you might have trouble to switch chart if opened chart > 15

Don't ask why, try and you will know the answer already.

No problems if you have enough ram or keep Bars In Chart to something reasonable (5K) and restart terminal once in a while (once/week) so history is written to disk and drop old bars on restart.
