smw10: This indicator gives the value of volumes (contracts) as a vertical histogram. The total volume at each pip level between the high/low of a previous period (eg 1H/1D) is plotted as a series of horizontal lines at each pip level (rather like a vertical MACD). levels of low volume give remarkably good turning points. I thought there may be a proprietary one for MT4 but as MT4 uses ticks for volumes and this indicator works on contracts it could not work on MT4 anyway. I have a seen it working on sierra platform but it is an expensive feed. Does anyone know if it exists on MT5 or anywhere else with a free feed?
Whats the name of the indicator? Did you search the code-base for both mt4 and mt5?
Does it look something like this? https://www.mql5.com/ru/code/10550.

Sorry nothing like this. It is just like the volume indicator/histogram but it runs up the side of the chart with the histogram levels showing horizontally. It is called volume by price.
