point and figure charts

Anyway to get a plugin for point and figure charts. Or something to that effect. I am a newbie here, so it may take a while to figure this out.

you may find something like it at

Not used P&F myself, so cannot say if it is any good.

I believe you can create offline chart and feed data to it from an online chart that runs an EA.

This has an advantage in that you can see a 10/50 tick chart.

You might want to create more than one to see what the extra workload is like, might not be an issue.

Disadvantage is - I cant remember if you need to await for the chart to fill.

Also you can't backtest ideas for a 10 tick chart.

Maybe mt5 allows you to do it too???

Advantage is that indicators can be applied.

Possibly an EA can go on the offline chart and make trades - need to test how. (renko? rangebar? tick?)

This looks good - https://www.mql5.com/en/code/10766

I'll check it out. I currently use Supply and Demand methods, mainly Wyckoff, he used point and figure charts for Stocks, don't know how well they work for Forex! Thanks!

I tried this download but I only get up and down overlayed bars with the regular price bars. I guess I don't know how to use it! I also went to the link you provided and it looks like someone is selling a box version of P and F charts, software that is.
