MT4 SAYS COMMON ERROR AND NO CONNECTION

Hello to the fellow traders,

I am having a serious problem with my mt4 platform, it stops/freezes and loses connection to the server. my server is US-05

Upon trying to restart (ie both the pc and metatrader), ''no connection'' still persists preceded by ''common error''.

When it does return to normal, it is very sluggish but as of recent, it happens more often than not.

Does anyone have an answer as to why this is happening?

I do not know anything about updates either,

I ran metatrader as ''run as administrator'' but that doesnt help either, it only changes all my setting to default.

My pc seems to be in order, i have tradestation by fxcm as well, which is perfectly fine.
