Value of predefined variable "Bars"

my EA has written the value of "Bars" to the MetaTrader log file. Since yesterday afternoon there is an unusual phenomenon. Nearly every two hours, the value is reducing by 128 points.

example given: 

time     value of Bars
14:30    1200
14:31    1201
14:32    1202
14:33    1074
14:34    1075
.
.
.
17:41     1202
17:42     1074
.
.
.

and so on....

does anyone of you have an idea why?

 

it could be your max bars in history or max bars in chart limit was reached, you might increase it in the options dialogue, Ctrl+O.

 

Hi SDC,

this was also my assumption, but I was not sure why the MetaTrader remove 128 Bars not only one. In options was MaxBars 1000.
