MT4 Build 500 Audio Alerts will not stay muted

In Build 482 an Audio Alert can be muted simply by highlighting the Audio Alert and pressing the space bar. It will stay muted until you reactivate it in the Alert Editor or re-highlight it and press the space bar again. In Build 500, when you use the space bar to mute the alert, it only holds for the duration of the Timeout (Default = 10 Seconds). It then unmutes and continues to alarm. The muting function has been changed so it literally doesn't mute any more. Is there a fix to this bug (error, code change?)?
