I just check this, IBFX AU (Google that ;) ) has news on demo.

I always un-check enable news, usually news causing medium processor usage, especially during London - New York session or when there are plenty economic calendar and report coming out, just watch your Task MAnager.

I have the same issue but i have a real account. After reinstalling it many times the problem remains as it. I am trying to figure out the way to fix it but no success until now.
