Can't drag /drop .ex4 to chart
Don't install MT4 in Program Files . . . well you can but you will have issues due to UAC. Did you copy the file into the experts folder ? then compile it ? then try and drag and drop it from the experts section in the navigator from within MT4 ?

Newbie and must be completely stupid. Using MACD Sample.mq4 able to compile without errors and get MACD Sample.ex4 in navigator Templates after clicking files "Show All".
Attempt to drag drop this .ex4 file onto chart but nothing happens. Suspect there should be an Experts directory shown in Navigator however nothing showing. Expert directory and files are in C: program files MetaTrader4 Expert. This system on Vista and same on Windows 7 PC.
Any help most appreciated
