Creation of demo accounts not possible anymore?

For several weeks now I am unable to create demo accounts on every terminal (=every broker) and every machine I'm using. I always have to contact some broker to create one for me.

Did Metaquotes change anything?

Creation of new demo accounts now only works from build 409. (The complete lack of advance warning about this to either traders or brokers suggests that this was an accident.)
