Unable to clear MT 4 Cache

 

Hi,

I am was using OANDA MT4 and this morning i wasn't able to connect. Oanda support informed me to uninstall the app and reinstalled it. It worked fine for the first time then when I close and re-open it my old settings come back from the previous install. I did the following trouble shooting steps and still same issue.

1. Uninstall Oanda Mt4

2. Manually deleted all files from C:\program files

3. cleared temp folder from user profile

4. rebooted the machine

5. Reinstalled the app still same issue

I think it's a registry issue but I can't find any related reg keys

Can anyone pls help me with this issue. The folks at OANDA are no help

 
It might be a UAC issue. Uninstall and reinstall but NOT in ProgramFiles . . . . try C:\MT4 instead.
