Why don't you just paint over the bar using Objects ?

Exactly what Raghee Horner's GRaB indicator does. 1 Color for wicks and 2 for the body = 4 buffers/direction 3 indicators/3directions

Thanks to both of you. As always great information. I was able get this done from my EA.

Hi Dan,
I am trying to change the color of individual bars without using indicator array.
Kindly share the technique/logic that you used to get this done ;)
TIA

I have taken a look at a few indicators that can do it, but I would like to do it directly from my EA without using an indicator. I have thought about putting my EA logic into an indicator and running the EA and the indicator on the same chart. In theory that would work but that seems like a long way around. I just want to change a few older candles to a diffent color after my EA makes a trade.
