Distances between moving averages - page 2

this looks like to show a trend on higher timeframes, but kinda gives a lot of false signals on T5 and T15.

BTW what tm you use this.??

Anyone Knows more moving averages ??
I just posted in the codebase Inverse Distance Weighted Moving Average (IDWma) - MQL4 Code Base

This type of patterns give me the best turnning points.

The problem is that there are few signals in big timeframes..

The concept is the distance between two moving averages.

The first moving average is MA Period = 1.

The key maybe is on the second moving average...

Best regards.

It is based on the concept of Point Zero by Bill Williams: it calculates the neccesary volume for effective price movement over time, and points what seem to be exhaustion points.

It uses no moving averages, only price action, fractals, momentum and FMI. I am still improving it to display alerts, email for new positions....etc.

It turns out extremely effective predicting reversals, and much earlier than moving averages. Moving averages are reactive, and slow.

Volume in relation to price action si the best way I know to predict reversals, and even huge gaps (see last pic)

do you know how MACD is calculated?

Yes.......

But macd give you good turnning points ?

Not by itself, but it is a good measure. MACD is reactive and lagging. You should validate MACD signal with other indicators.
