Drawdown Recovery?

Hallo there,

Here is my trading's drawdown.

Abs. drawdown: 0.02 USD
Maximal: 3.41 USD
Relative: 11.42%
Max DD by equity: 1.77%


My question: Is it any way to recover/decreasing these drawdown value?.... for example: current Relative DD : 11.42% ....... is it possible that Relative DD become 5% ?

If it possible, what should I do? .... increasing profit? or maybe lowering MM risk, or any other?

Improve your trading strategy. Anyway 11.42% isn't so much.

to improve your drawdown, you need to improve your entry strategy.

I use myfx**ok to analyze my trading... and I can easily review entry-exit accuracy for every trade.... some of my trade statistic have entry-exit accuracy 80%-90% :)

I think I will maintain this accuracy value, maybe after some trades, my DD will decreased below 10% :) ..... at least now I know that %DD value is able to changed/recovered.


Just suggestion for MQL5.com ........ how about improving history trading statistic?

I mean if we analyze our trading statistic using myfxb**k,,,,  or FXS*AT, ... we can see more detail about our trade statistic.

So, since MQL5.com already provide Signal Providers,,, I think it would be good for MQL5.com to improve its statistic analysis.


For examples: I believe a good Signal Provider must able to make DD smallest and able to recover it (smallest DD mean low risk) ,,,

so I think it would be good to make record DD progress.... let say in January, DD=20.45% ...... in February, DD=30.12% ....... <=== it mean DD getting worse and risk is getting high.

Ok I see. Though DD is already recorded now, see Equity tab.
 
My Maximum drawdown is 58.33% can improve this issue be came below 50%.Tell me more.thank you

Your working dd  is in equity tab but your balance dd dos not changed
 
trade smaller lot size
 
Trade with opposite side ... Hedging technic but you should clear by split small lot follow trend
