How to download a new "experts log" or is that done automatic?

The file in my log folder is just an old experts file.

When you "Print" text from an EA, is the text saved on the computer as some kind of logg file as well? (since the "print window" show limited number of rows, about thousand)

Under the Strategy Tester log files are written to tester/logs whereas an Expert running live/Demo writes to experts/logs.

The file could be "missing" because MT4 is running on Vista or Windows 7, from a protected area of disk such as Program Files, and the logs are getting virtualized into a per-user area of disk. Many, many topics on this subject, e.g. https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/112576
