lost C drive space when EA is running over a period of time

Hi,

I am not sure if this topic has been discussed before but my search did not come out with a solution to the problem.

Some suggest that the loss of C drive space is due to some history log files stored under the MT4 directory.

For my case, I did not do any backtest (only real time running) and the log directory is empty (much smaller than 1MB total)

However, it appears that everyday the C drive is lossing a few hundreds of MB

Has anyone experience this issue and how to solve this problem.

Did you check the logs directory or the experts/logs directory ?

Yes I did. and from memory, there were only 3 files about 1k, 2k, 7xxk

 

Be more specific, I have done below

c:\program files\metatrader 4

cd experts
cd logs
del *.*
cd..
cd..
cd tester
cd history
del *.*
cd..
cd logs
del *.*
