Dear All,
Our company would like to explore development of plug-in modules for the MT4 platform as one of the possible ways to expand our business. In order to evaluate what it takes, we tried to find any available technical documentation but found virtually nothing. So, we decided to post our questions here and really hope that they will be answered. So, what interests us is the following:
1. How to install development environment for the MT4 plugins? What language does the API use? Where can we download the API?
2. Where can we obtain technical documentation (MT4 API description)? Links to tutorials, code examples, etc. are very welcome too.
Please note that we are not interested in the dvelopment of automated trading modules. What we're looking for to develop are the standard MT4 plug-ins that can be activated by adding into the "plug-ins" section of the MT4 Administrator.
