Expire after first date used?

Does anybody know if it is possible to code an expiry date from the date the expert is first used rather than having a hard coded date?

Write a file with the first used date, read the file and expire. Or add a registry item. Obviously a user can modify/delete those or just decompile the ex4 to override.
