timeframe && expert advisor

If I add expert advisor to chart with 15 min timeframe, and I use timeframe 1min in all indicators, will it use those timeframes written in the script, or will it use chart timeframe?

Because I've seen that simulation overrides the timeframe written in the script. So how does this work?
