When i run an EA backtest, it does not work.

In the journal tab it says:

TestGenerator: no ticks generated

Can somebody please help/

Try to reload ticks data from server: press F2, than select currency pair and tf, press download. After download completes press download again and agree to recalculate all tfs.

Maybe a restart of terminal also will be required.

You checked the use dates box (below model, above visual) and have no history for that time range.

I have the same issue, oddly enough everything was fine and then boom.... "No ticks generated". Tried downloading from the History Center again, same issue.  Tried different currency, timeframe, EA....  Same problem.

On a different machine the same currency and EA works fine.
