Testing same EA on Alpari & FXCM

Hi,

I had been testing some EA's and I got really confused now.


I had been testing EA's on demo FXCM MT4 then I decided to open a Alpari demo MT4.


Made same EA, same time frime same setting ect...


But the results are not the same between FXCM & Alpari.

Can anyone tell me the reason.

 

To be expected. Unregulated market. Different prices. Different spreads.

The fact that the brokers data differ slightly from each other has a nice benefit; it's a good way to check the robustness of your methods.

Well several, as above plus timezone - you dont say whether these are the US or UK branches of the two brokers?
I find differences in live data on different accounts, never mind different brokers....

you are trading with different account balances. Alpari initial bal is 1000 while fxcm is 10000.
