History holes from Metaquotes.

Hello, I've read in many places that history downloaded from Metaquotes is not the best, but I use for backtesting.
I've found a "little" hole on GBPUSD.
Is present on more brokers platform after history download from Metaquotes.
This is the problem.

Alpari.

Jade.

GoMarket.

This after downloading history and all timeframes recalculation.

im facing the same problem and had email to alpari.
i thought when downloading from the history center is actually from alpari data center?

https://alpari.com/en/dc/databank.html

then how can i back test my EA with my broker history data then?
how can i test it as accurate as possible?

If u use the "Download" button in the history center you download MQ data (indicative data) and not from the broker. If u double-click a time-frame in the history center or backscroll the chart, u download from the broker. Unfortunately most brokers limit that data (usually to no more than 8 weeks of M1... sometimes much less).

hmmm,

then i think i need to open my metatrader all day to download all the m1 data for myself to do testing then

You don't need it open all the time... Just open it once a week or so and let it update the charts. It would download all data since the last datetime in the HST file. It's recommended to have a separate installation for this purpose.

that's what i thinking of.

but then i need to wait for enough data to begin my backtesting.
