Ok, it is finally doing it...
I just started a new instance of Metaeditor, wrote a little code, requested compile, and it is stuck.
So, that's all I know. Open editor, compile something and it is hung.
There is no escape except via PC reboot. It's been working fine until now.
Oh yes, when I exit Metaeditor, this helpful little window pops up:
Uh, yes.
Time for a reboot, see ya.
Happened again, this time durng the compile of a newly created indicator.
It had been fine since the last reboot on 12/13.

I've now found something which consistently causes Metalang to hang. This doesn't explain why it happens, but I get the same results every time I do the following:
- Do a fresh boot of the computer.
- Open MetaEditor and compile an .mq4 file - works okay.
- Run Filemon from Sysinternals (and then close Filemon before continuing).
- Open MetaEditor and compile an .mq4 file - hangs this time.
I'm guessing that Filemon leaves some sort of disk monitoring in place even after it exits, and that Metalang doesn't like this for some reason. I don't know if Metaquotes use the Oreans code protection in Metalang.exe as well as Terminal.exe, but this is the sort of nonsense you tend to get with code protection...
