Upgrade custom indicator to EA
use search box on top right every site page.
this is not trivial task.
added to above is simple fact that EA can actually have degraded performance. is article about this...
iow, must have massively good arguments as to reasons for putting ind code into EA.
iCustom() is your alternative and will do just as well until that is, you decide that maybe performance can be enhanced by ind into EA code.
then you will have good learning curve b4 you... :)
and like article on this site, author decides is not appropriate for most scenarios - it just does not deliver the goodies as one might have expected!
Try doing a search in this forum of "ifractal" you will get some hits in the code base of both indicators and EA's. This should give you a starting point for your idea.
I think fbj is perhaps trying to "protect" you, but I think it's best to follow your own ideas, and make your own conclusions. Just my take...

I have a custom indicator that I would like to convert into an EA.
For example the fractal indicator, if it is an up fractal on both the eur/usd and gbp/usd, a trade would be entered on the eur/usd.
PLEASE HELP! THANKS
