Why alert message not appear if written in the special function start()?

Hi,


Just wonder why the alert message not appear in the special function start() while

alert message appear in special function init() and deinit()?


Can someone tell me why? I have to admit I am new to EA writing :)

Could it be that you just haven't waited long enough to receive a tick?

The start() function is triggered by each incoming tick, and it is Saturday after all...

 
Alert() function doesn't work in tester.

Time being, I will try again on Monday. Just wonder how long does a tick comes?


Lastly, may I know what function that is similar to Alert() function if I would like

to use in special function, start()?
