Using OBV

Hello,

is there any practical method to use the parameter(or function) "OBV"( On balance volume) in the code(in custom indicators etc.) instead of "close"?

i.e. replacing the symbol "close" by a symbol(or formula)that represents "OBV"

If anybody has an idea, thanks in advance.
